Located in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District, just two blocks from the Denver Art Museum, Gallery 1261 presents contemporary fine art rooted in pure artistic expression. Opened in 2004 with the support of gallery owner Chris Mileham (Abend Gallery), illustrator David Uhl, and artist Quang Ho, our mission is to give artists space to show their strongest work without the constraints of traditional marketability. Our programming is guided by Quang Ho, and Abend Gallery also shares our space for a uniquely rich viewing experience.
