Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) fills a unique niche in Denver's Art Community
Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC)
We’re the only nonprofit organization in Denver dedicated exclusively to the art of photography. Located at 1200 Lincoln Street in Denver's Golden Triangle Creative District, CPAC's award-winning space includes two galleries, a darkroom, digital lab, classroom, photobook library, and more. Founded in 1963, we serve as a resource center where photographers can learn new skills, pursue their artistic vision, build community, grow creatively, and seek inspiration.
CPAC hosts 7-10 high-quality exhibitions of contemporary photography from local and national artists that are free and open to the public. We offer classes taught by established artists and industry professionals. We offer resources for artists, including a darkroom, digital lab, photobook library, and and a Permanent Collection of more than 800 fine art prints. Finally, we organize more than 50 events each year to engage the broader Denver community.
