Final Fridays are your chance to engage with the quirky, cool, and sophisticated creatives who define the Triangle’s eclectic energy.


  • Dates & Times

    The last Friday of the month, 6-9 pm, though many businesses will be open earlier and later. 2018 Dates:  June 29th,  July 27th,  August 31st,  September 28th.

  • What to Do!

    The Final Friday Art Walk (Final Fridays) gives visitors, residents and folks who work in the Triangle an after-hours opportunity to explore the many creative spaces in our special corner of Denver, including the chance to engage with the quirky, cool, and sophisticated art and creatives which define our eclectic neighborhood.

    6-9 pm on the Final Friday of each month

    Cost: FREE to attend!

    The Denver Art Museum leads the way with its Untitled Final Fridays/Creative Takeover, a mixed media, late-night programming that runs January through October 2018 from 6-10 pm.

    All other Golden Triangle galleries and creative spaces will be hosting artist receptions, openings, talks, collaborative and performance art throughout the year with a laser focus during the peak months of June, July, August, and September when the Triangle is most active. Check their websites for what’s on tap each month in their respective spaces.

    Mirus (adj): astonishing, extraordinary, strange. Championing new movements in contemporary art with locations in San Francisco, CA and Denver, CO. Their Denver gallery is only been in town for a few months – and we are delighted to have them participating in Final Fridays!

    Denver Art Museum – Open until 10 pm
    Untitled Final Fridays (6-10 pm) just got even more creative. Each event is completely artist designed and delivered, highlighting each partner’s unique talent and vision. Experience the museum in an entirely different way, every time.
    Untitled is included in general admission. Members receive free admission to every Untitled event and all the special programming that happens inside. Local residents enjoy $10 admission, and College students with valid ID receive 2-for-1 admission. CHECK OUT THE LINEUP:

    Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative ArtOpen until 8 pm
    Offering extended hours, remaining open until 8 pm on our Final Fridays with a special $5 Final Friday admission fee when visiting between 5-8 pm! Open to adults and children 13+.

    In addition to our fine museums and galleries, each month visitors to the Triangle during Final Fridays will be directed to our pop-up creative experience within the neighborhood. Each space will hold its own surprises for those creatively inclined… here are just a few:

    Denver Public Library – Activities until 8 pm
    Button making, book giveaways, and Golden Triangle community engagement activity on the lawn at the Clifford Still Museum!

    Walking Tours are a great way to discover (or re-discover) a neighborhood!
    The Golden Triangle Public Art Tour and the Golden Triangle History Tour meet up at the south end of Martin Plaza at 5:45 pm. Secret reception to follow these tours at 7:00 pm.

    The Golden Triangle Gallery Tour will launch from the Clyfford Still Museum at 7:15 pm and end at Mirus Gallery for a smashing reception and a look at their Veiled Intent installation (which ends September 29th).

    Everyone who lives in the Golden Triangle Creative District knows the best way to get around the neighborhood is on foot – or check out a B-Cycle!  Use our map link above and plan your path!

  • Parking

    “Oh no – I’m going into the ‘city!’ Where do I park???”  Check out lots of options here.

    Bicycling, walking and public transit is encouraged.  With just a simple ride up the 16th Mall Free Shuttle from Union Station to Civic Center and a stroll through Civic Center Park, you can begin to explore what’s happening for Final Fridays!
