COVID-19 Neighborhood and Business Support

All of us are feeling the impact of the necessary measures enacted to slow the spread of COVID-19. With the cancellation of events, the closure of museums, gyms, bars and restaurants, and now citywide orders to stay at home, life as we knew it has changed drastically. We hope to be a helpful resource at this time by providing information regarding our immediate neighborhood and beyond.

Support & Resources

  • From the GTCD Board of Directors

    Friends and Neighbors,

The Golden Triangle Creative District (GTCD) exists to serve the interests and needs of its stakeholders in the Golden Triangle neighborhood. We are proud to be home to an incredibly diverse range of residents, businesses, civic, cultural and community organizations – including museums, galleries, bars, restaurants, hotels, retailers, architects, designers, salons/spas, gyms and more.

All of us are feeling the impact of the necessary measures enacted to slow the spread of COVID-19. With the cancellation of events, the closure of museums, gyms, bars and restaurants, and now citywide orders to stay at home, life as we knew it has changed drastically. However, there are multiple opportunities to continue to access the fantastic art, food, and other products created in our district, and in doing so, provide vital support to local businesses and the individuals behind them.

Golden Triangle businesses are enhancing their online presence and offering more products and services through their websites. Museums are offering online access to their collections, virtual tours and educational resources for parents at home with children. Restaurants are staying open with take-out and delivery service. Your support for local businesses and organizations during this time will help the Golden Triangle remain the eclectic, vibrant, and engaging community that we all love.

For now, here are some ways to support each other:

    • Gift Cards: Buy a gift card to support cash flow and enjoy your meal, drink, haircut, fitness class, or boutique shopping trip later this year. See our Golden Triangle directory for a listing of neighborhood businesses. (GTCD members, please email us updates and details on any new offers or developments you would like us to share.)
    • Buy Online: Visit your favorite retailers’ websites to purchase merchandise online.
    • Order In: Patronize takeout at Golden Triangle bars and restaurants – many are offering their products for pick-up or delivery.
    • Work Out: Stay fit with a virtual fitness class – many of those in the wellness community are offering specials to stay fit in your home.
    • Join Up: Purchase a membership for use later this year. All of the neighborhood theaters and cultural organizations are temporarily closed and could use your support through membership or donations.
    • Donate: Give to local cultural and non-profit organizations you support. The Golden Triangle is home to Clyfford Still Museum, Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC), Curious Theatre Company, Denver Art Museum, History Colorado Center, and Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art.

Thank you for your continued support. Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages for continued updates and efforts to support our community. If you have any additional ideas or questions, you can reach out directly to admin@goldentriangleofdenver.com.
